Amazing Video: Laid Off Coal Worker Confronts Hillary With Picture Of His Kids

This past weekend, former President Bill Clinton was campaigning for his wife in West Virginia when he was confronted by members of the audience who were clearly upset with his wife’s pledge to dismantle the coal industry.

“When’s she going to lay us all off … and wipe us all out?” shouted one protester.

The animosity was due to comments made by Hillary Clinton, in which she vowed to put coal miners out of business.

Hillary attended a roundtable in West Virginia, where it was her turn to get skewered by people who make their living and feed their families by working in the coal industry.

One particular incident stood out as devastating – when a laid off coal miner showed Hillary a picture of his kids. The kids he could no longer provide for.

Watch the exchange below …

Via the Daily Caller:

A teary-eyed West Virginia coal worker confronted Hillary Clinton at a campaign event on Monday over the Democratic presidential candidate’s promises to dismantle the coal industry.

Clinton offered a semi-apology to Bo Copley, a 39-year-old father who lost his job as a foreman in the struggling industry. But the former secretary of state also claimed that her anti-coal comments — which she made at a town hall event in March — were taken out of context.

“I just want to know how you can say you’re going to put a lot of coal miners out of, out of jobs, and then come in here and tell us how you’re going to be our friend, because those people out there don’t see you as a friend,” Copley told Clinton, referring to dozens of protesters gathered outside of Monday’s round-table session who shouted at the candidate to “Go home!” as she arrived.

The ‘semi-apology’ involved Clinton whining that she had been taken out of context when she said “we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

Clinton wasn’t taken out of context. She has no interest in helping the coal industry. In fact, she will be a third term in President Obama’s war on coal. Her remarks echo those of the President, who claimed his strict regulations on the coal industry would cause electricity rates to “necessarily skyrocket”and whose climate adviser claimed “a war on coal is exactly what’s needed.”

Check out the report on Hillary’s exchange with the coal miner …

Just before the election in 2012, I issued a warning to voters in coal states such as West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc., that President Obama was going to destroy jobs in their industry.

I would issue the same warning to people in those states thinking of voting for Hillary.

Remember her words – “we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.” Remember this man’s kids and your own families when you head to the polls.

Comment: What did you think of Hillary’s “apology” to the devastated coal miner? Sincere, or the usual ‘say anything to get elected’ shtick? Give us your assessment below.
