Mitch McConnell’s decision to surrender without a fight concerning the effort to defund Planned Parenthood — even after undercover videos documented that the baby-killers are harvesting body parts — is inexcusable.
“We just don’t have the votes to get the outcome that we’d like,” McConnell said during an appearance on WYMT. “The way you make a law in this country, the Congress has to pass it and the president has to sign it. The president has made it very clear he’s not going to sign any bill that includes defunding of Planned Parenthood, so that’s another issue that awaits a new president hopefully with a different point of view about Planned Parenthood.”
In other words …. you can’t convince your friends from across the aisle to defund a provider of abortions to hundreds of thousands of women with video proof of these actions.
Gee, Mitch fails to do his job as he prepares for the next election. What are the odds?
How about bringing it to a roll call VOTE so the PEOPLE can see where you corrupt criminals stand on the subject?
The media has managed to ignore the videos by Center for Medical Progress, offering up supporters to tout the women’s health services that would be hurt by cuts in funding.
Republicans have a majority in both houses, and they are acting like it was 2008 when Democrats controlled the entire government. What use are they if they don’t fight for the people? Planned Parenthood is an evil organization that needs to be defunded asap. It’s our money and nobody asked the American people if our tax money could be used for these atrocities.
